BTS member Jin is currently at the receiving end of brutal criticism over his appearance.

The issue sprouted from a new, solo photoshoot done by the BTS member for Gucci‘s PRIMAVERA campaign. As a brand ambassador, Jin was among many celebrities who were photographed as portraits inspired by Botticelli’s Primavera painting.

Jin’s styling for the PRIMAVERA campaign stood out in the photos, as it was edgier than any look he has tried in recent years. Though his outfit was rather simple, a grey biker jacket and dark denim, what drew attention was the exaggerated liner around his eyes, giving off an “emo” look.
