A reality dating show star quietly shared an update by posting his running record, after deleting all posts from the past four years following his breakup with a fellow participant.
On October 5th, Kwang Soo from I Am SOLO Season 28 posted two photos on his account without any caption. The revealed photos showed his running record along with a clear autumn sky.
Kwang Soo had deleted all couple photos taken with Jeong Hee, as well as all posts he had uploaded over the last four years. The most recent post remaining is a video uploaded on March 21, 2022.
The news of their breakup was first revealed by Jeong Hee. On the 4th, when a netizen commented on Jeong Hee’s post, “Did you break up? I was rooting for you,” Jeong Hee replied, “Yes, we broke up. Thank you for supporting us all this time,” confirming the breakup. However, she did not disclose the specific reason for their split.
Kwang Soo and Jeong Jee became a couple after choosing each other as their final match on the ENA and SBS Plus show I Am SOLO Season 28‘s divorced special. After the broadcast, the two developed a real romantic relationship and continued dating publicly.
In December last year, Jeong Hee appeared on the channel Village Chief Entertainment TV and said, “It’s been six months since I met Kwangsoo. We started dating immediately after making the final choice on I Am SOLO. Things have been good. When we came back to reality, our feelings for each other were the same,” expressing her affection.
Kwang Soo also said, “I am acting as her unofficial manager. We haven’t even experienced a full four seasons yet, but our children have rapidly become close. There are friends from season 28 getting married, and parents from I Am SOLO too. While it’s envied, we have our own happiness beyond that.”
Both raise one daughter each and have spent time together as a family of four, showing a family-like bond. Kwang Soo referred to his daughter and Jeong Hee and her daughter as “one family,” and Jeong Hee’s daughter even called Kwang Soo “dad,” showing their closeness.
On SBS’s My Ugly Duckling in July, when asked about marriage plans, he responded “I’m ready,” raising expectations. The news of their breakup, despite previously mentioning marriage, has left fans feeling regretful.
