Stray Kids‘ upcoming release has sparked major fury among fans, leading to some calls for a boycott as well.

Recently, Live Nation announced the theatrical release of Stray Kids: The dominATE Experience worldwide. Their official social media account also provided a booking link to buy tickets at select venues where the movie will be available.

Fans quickly noticed that the countries listed in Live Nation’s post didn’t include any countries from Africa. Additionally, the only place in West Asia where the movie will be available is Israel.

The list immediately sparked heated backlash from fans, who were not only insulted by the complete exclusion of Africa but also infuriated that the movie would be screened in Israel despite its genocidal actions towards Palestinians. What made matters worse was Live Nation hiding replies from fans demanding to remove Israel from the list.

oh you are nasty disgusting and sick @LiveNation … hiding the replies where ppl want that fake country get removed from the list https://t.co/TbeNrjd6kl pic.twitter.com/DBaOibFzQZ

Israel in the list but not a single African country https://t.co/4GOvI65YDW pic.twitter.com/Ktu9tk5m8R

All the more reason to boycott them. Apparently, ‘Stray Kids everywhere all around the world’ does not include Palestine and the Middle East, yet it includes a genocidal state https://t.co/rwKYVcQThT

Remove that israel shit from asia. Doing concert on the land of Palestine while people there were dying behind that brick. Shame on you @Stray_Kids https://t.co/Cgu8jcrMXQ

This says so much abt how they view things btw
what russia is doing = not okay
what israel is doing = okay since the palestinian lives are much less important
Middle east & africa = also not important so let’s just pretend they don’t exist https://t.co/cWaMtidgoo

Stray kids everywhere all around the world for violent settler colonies committing genocide but fuck you if you’re African or Arab am i right?? Remove israel from the screening dpmo https://t.co/Ni7FvkNf4U

Despite such fierce opposition, none of the stakeholders has addressed the issue yet.
