His prescription was disclosed when he released his medical records in response to the scandal.

Back in December 2025, in response to being associated with comedian Park Na Rae‘s unlicensed “auntie” after a photo of him receiving IV drips in his car raised questions, TV star Jun Hyun Moo (also known as Jeon Hyun Moo) released his medical records to refute the suspicions.

In that process, it was revealed that Jun Hyun Moo was prescribed “Mvix,” a erectile dysfunction medication developed by SK Chemicals, containing the active ingredient mirodenafil.

Months later, he has hinted at the buzz surrounding the prescription, seemingly acknowledging his erectile dysfunction by delivering a self-deprecating joke on MBN‘s Moo No Plan Season 3.

In the January 30 episode of the program, Jun Hyun Moo and Kwaktube were shown traveling to Yeosu with renowned Chef Yeo Kyung Rae. The trio headed to a restaurant to try conger eel and pen shell clams, considered some of Yeosu’s most premium “stamina-boosting” dishes.

As the restaurant owner made her recommendations, she casually remarked to Jun Hyun Moo, “You went through a tough time recently, but I’m glad things worked out.” Hearing this nudge at his recent scandal, Jun Hyun Moo briefly grew solemn before responding with an awkward smile, “You’re very up to date on the latest news.”

Afterward, the table was filled with an abundant spread. While looking over the alcohol menu, Kwaktube pointed out the yakwanmun, a traditional herb often joked about for its supposed virility-boosting effects. Jun Hyun Moo immediately chimed in, joking at his own expense:

Jun Hyun Moo: They also have ‘get-it-up wine.’ Want some get-it-up wine?

Kwaktube: I mean… There’s only one person here should be drinking get-it-up wine

Jun Hyun Moo: Well then. I’ll chug the entire serving of it.

The “Mvix 100” prescribed to Jun Hyun Moo is considered a high dose. In a previous interview, one professor of the urology department at a university hospital commented, “Mvix 100 is a medication prescribed solely to assist in improving erectile dysfunction.”

Since it remains in the body for only 2–3 hours, it needs to be taken about one hour before sexual activity for it to be effective. A 100 mg prescription suggests that the lower 50 mg dose may not have been sufficiently effective.

When such information was released, netizens expressed sympathy toward Jun Hyun Moo for fully disclosing even potentially controversial details in order to avoid further misunderstandings. Some commented that “He must have felt extremely wronged to reveal prescription details like this,” adding that had this information been withheld, the controversy might have grown even larger.
