A reality dating show star has declared a strong response to various rumors, including those related to pregnancy, abortion, STDs, and more, surrounding her.
On October 26th, Ok Soon from season 31 of I Am SOLO directly addressed and refuted 15 rumors concerning her. She stated, “I have no plans to marry, have never received an expensive ring as a gift, nor been proposed to,” “I am not pregnant, nor have I had an abortion or miscarriage,” “I have never met men through dating apps,” and “The suspicions about sexually transmitted diseases are untrue.”
She also clarified, “The claim that I had promiscuous relationships while working as a flight attendant is false,” “The claim that I was a spokesperson for ㄱㅎㅅㄷ is false,” “The claim that I was a deputy spokesperson in the Jeolla region under my previous name is false,” and “I did not resign because my employment was not converted during my time as a flight attendant.”
Regarding rumors about her being completely edited out of I Am SOLO due to threatening the production team, she stated, “The claim that I demanded to be entirely edited out by mentioning suicide or my mother’s illness is false.”
After systematically refuting all 15 rumors, Ok Soon declared a firm stance, saying, “These are the most frequently circulated falsehoods, and I will show no leniency.”
Ok Soon, a contestant from I Am SOLO Season 31, became the final partner of Young Ho from the same season but faced backlash over allegations that she and her group ostracized Soon Ja. Young Ho’s dental clinic was also subjected to “review bombing,” causing damage.
In response, Ok Soon tearfully announced her breakup with Young Ho on a live broadcast. However, about five months after the breakup announcement, a couple photo of Ok Soon and Young Ho was leaked, sparking controversy.
Ok Soon explained, “The photo was leaked due to my mistake. It was not posted to announce an imminent marriage or a reunion, nor was it shared with any particular intent.” She also once again denied allegations of ostracizing Soon Ja, appealing, “My situation has reached the point where even basic social life is difficult.“
