KASTEYE member Manon is going on a temporary hiatus from group activities, and fans couldn’t be more apprehensive about her future with the group.

On February 21, KST, the official Weverse account of KATSEYE announced that Manon will be taking a temporary break from group activities to “focus on her health and wellbeing.” The notice didn’t clarify when she would be back except for a vague, “when the time is right.”
After open and thoughtful conversations together, we are sharing that Manon will be taking a temporary hiatus from group activities to focus on her health and wellbeing.

Shortly after, Manon also took to Weverse and communicated directly with fans, stating that she was “healthy” and “okay.” She described the situation as “things unfold[ing] in ways [she] couldn’t fully control,” adding that she was still “trusting the bigger picture.”

Given that Manon’s explanation directly contradicted HYBE X Geffen’s statement, fans are now anxious that her label might actually be attempting to push her out of the group. Some unverified screenshots have also been shared online, supposedly showing the label’s intention to terminate its contract with Manon.
