A 25-year-old actor shared the heartfelt letter he wrote to his future self when he was 15 years old.
“Ohmkrit” Thanakrit Chiamchunya is an openly gay Thai actor under the BL (Boys’ Love) production company Domundi. He played main roles in the BLs Night Dream and Magic Lover, along with supporting roles in series such as Your Third and The Next Prince.
On June 19th, Ohmkrit shared a decade-old letter on X that plucked every one of his heartstrings. In his post, he said the letter made him bawl his eyes out, and that so many of the things he was wishing for at 15 ended up turning out the way he hoped they would.

The letter, penned in 2016 when he was a student, begins with a warm greeting: “Greetings from 2016, Gorgeous!” It paints a vivid picture of his youthful life, including school projects, sports days, best friends, and a deep fondness for his family, cats, and idols like Beyoncé.
He also wrote about his sexuality: “You were gay. Are you still gay there? /laugh/. Do you still consider yourself beautiful and gorgeous?” His aspirations were boundless. He dreamed of becoming a singer, dancer, news reporter, artist, and model, and even of leaving the country to pursue bigger horizons. He urged his future self to keep fighting, no matter what life throws at him.
He intends to write another letter to his future self. What will his life look like at 35? Only time will tell!
