Heeseung has spent little time away from the center of debate these past few weeks.

Since withdrawing from ENHYPEN on March 10, everything the idol has done has been under a microscope. His exit alone has massively divided fans, with some still demanding his return and others having moved on and continuing to support ENHYPEN as six.

Now, new video call clips of his interactions with fans are making the rounds online, and they’ve only added to the concern.
Heeseung’s Behavior During Recent Fan Call Sparks Worry Following His Departure From ENHYPEN
During these calls, Heeseung was asked about his solo plans, including a possible album and whether he’ll open personal social media accounts. Unfortunately, his answers didn’t give fans much to hold onto.
*about the new album*
🦌 actually, i’m trying my best for that. so um wait a sec, wait, wait… just a bit time
👤 and your personal account? instagram? weverse?
🦌 uh, actually i cannot say for that for now, so…
👤 okay
🦌 yeah, i’m so sorry. but it’s really, it’s really… pic.twitter.com/lIxILZCO9Y

Instead of blaming Heeseung, criticism quickly turned toward BeLift Lab. The company is now facing backlash, with fans accusing it of poor management and lack of support during a crucial transition period.
im sorry but this is so unfair to heeseung… they managed to announce world tour and continue to erase him from enha related content also still using him whenever it benefits them but he still didn’t get his own personal account? it has been more than 2 weeks but none of them can… https://t.co/DhmrBzny2X

Some pointed out that while the agency has been quick to remove Heeseung from group content and push forward with ENHYPEN’s activities, it hasn’t provided him with basic tools to connect with fans as a soloist.
if you’re going to announce heeseung is a solo artist. at the very least i wish he was treated like one.
i understand the album will take time, there’s no rush on that. heeseung works on pieces of music until he’s satisfied.
but it’s been 3 weeks and the most we have is just…

i feel so sad for heeseung.
the company is so frustrating with how they’re erasing him from the tour, fanchant, on/off using ot7 images, rushing to change bios saying enha is 6 and still making mistakes by including him at the end.
and yet, he’s still out here doing tsv… https://t.co/wba62OKWKi

belift’s poor management… you have all the time in the world to edit him out of photos and rewrite fan chants yet you can’t create his own spaces for him to communicate with his fans? and ppl are telling me this was all pre planned. https://t.co/qn4dxoFb7h

ENGENEs’ responses online ranged from frustration to disappointment, with many questioning how a planned departure could leave the artist seemingly unprepared for what comes next.
no but this is so unfair to heeseung.. they continue to erase him from everything enhypen related yet make him do group activities for the next 2 months all while the group is already moving on with a tour but he can’t get a seperate ig account?
— lia (@heesilver) March 31, 2026
you’re making him do 60 fancalls on a single day, you have time to plan a whole new fanchant and post the tour announcement but you can’t open his personal accounts and he can’t even talk about it? do you know you have 30 minutes @BELIFTLAB https://t.co/MpfCMQku2K

It remains to be seen whether Heeseung will finally get the clarity fans have been asking for.
