On January 16, as the book and exhibition opened, clearer photos of the sexier photos got shared, including one with Jennie holding her hands in front of her breasts in the topless photos, along with exposed underwear shots. It sent international fans into meltdown.

Korean netizens had mixed thoughts about the photos.
Some didn’t like Jennie’s level of exposure, but others said it wasn’t too much and that netizens were cherry-picking a minority of photos from a huge photobook, adding that Jennie’s aesthetic seemed more bold and sexy.

Why are people suddenly acting shocked? She’s been basically stripping at concerts too, and that’s clearly her personal aesthetic.
It’s not like she really has a “K-idol identity” anyway.She became a global superstar, spends most of her time abroad, speaks more English than Korean, and has had multiple boyfriends…
