A celebrity couple who reportedly broke up is still together and going out on dates, according to a new report.

Hashimoto Kanna is a Japanese idol-turned-actress and a former member of the girl group Rev. from DVL. She starred in the 2025 film Re/Member: The Last Night.
Nakagawa Taishi started out as a child actor. One of his best-known roles to date is Tenma Hase in Season 2 of Hana Yori Dango. In 2022, he and Hashimoto became the subject of dating rumors after Hashimoto was spotted leaving his apartment.

Two years later, the pair was photographed together for the first time since the rumors began. According to a report by the Japanese outlet Shukan Bunshun, the two had gone on a trip together.
In April of 2025, it was reported that the couple had ended their relationship after dating for two and a half years. Hashimoto reportedly turned down Nakagawa’s marriage proposal in 2023, and the two were said to have drifted apart towards the end of 2024.
However, in July of 2025, Josei Seven magazine reported that Hashimoto and Nakagawa are allegedly still together and cohabiting in Hashimoto’s apartment, which she had reportedly purchased for 300 million yen (around $1.9 million USD). The report said that Nakawaga asked Hashimoto to marry him, and she accepted the proposal.

Now, nearly a year later, Josei Seven has released an update for their July 2 issue. The couple was spotted in late May walking side by side on the streets of Omotesando, Tokyo. Despite previous breakup rumors, the two appeared to be very much still together.
According to an entertainment industry source, Hashimoto seems to have accompanied Nakagawa on a shopping trip ahead of his upcoming birthday. Since both stars have packed schedules, the insider said, this was probably a rare occasion when they happened to have the same day off.
