BTS‘s Jungkook has sparked huge reactions after directly responding to a “shipping” question related to members Jimin and V.

On June 1, Jungkook did a Q&A on Instagram, and one question proved particularly divisive.
In the question, Jungkook was asked about Jikook v Taekook, referring to his ships with fellow members V and Jimin. In particular, the way they worded Taekook is similar to the Korean way of saying Thailand, which is 태국 (pronounced tae-guk).

‘Netizens were not sure if Jungkook knew the meaning behind the question, as he answered Korea, but it sparked major anger among fans. Many also thought that Jungkook knew exactly what the fan meant and answered something witty, but addressing two ships that have sparked major debates online.
