[CONCERT RECAP] SUPER JUNIOR’S LEETEUK and HEECHUL Bring Nostalgia AND Playful Chaos To Singapore With “83z FANCON TOUR [1983]”

A Night of Iconic Hits, Solo Stages, and Unfiltered Chemistry

On 16 October 2026 (Friday) at 7.30PM, SUPER JUNIOR members Leeteuk and Heechul brought their 2026 SUPER JUNIOR-83z FANCON TOUR [1983] in SINGAPORE to The Star Theatre. The fancon combined individual solo performances, playful games, and a medley of SUPER JUNIOR classics which gave Singapore’s E.L.F. a chance to see the two members showcase their personalities both on and off the stage.

The evening opened with “Promise (너를 위한 약속),” where Leeteuk and Heechul immediately impressed with their vocals and well-blended harmonies. They followed with “SOLOVE” before greeting the Singaporean fans during their introductory moment.

Heechul revealed that he had recently trimmed his hair, prompting fans to tell him they wanted him to grow it long again. Leeteuk, meanwhile, shared that he liked The Star Theatre because the venue allowed him to see the fans more closely. They also mentioned Yesung, who was preparing for a concert in Korea a few days later, and teased that they would continue to perform a song that suited Yesung’s musical style.

The duo then sang “All My Heart (진심),” a sweet performance that highlighted their vocal blend. An introductory video then presented SUPER JUNIOR-83z and introduced their individual solo performances. Leeteuk took the stage first with “Bad Name,” delivering a sensual performance enhanced by red lighting and the use of curtains during the choreography. Heechul followed with “GODOGNAM (고독남),” bringing his own style to the solo segment.

While Heechul went backstage to change, Leeteuk returned to chat with the audience. The fancon then moved into a segment titled “Pro Idol is U,” where the two had to find costumes on stage and locate the camera to pose. The playful challenge showcased their entertaining personalities, with the audience cheering as they completed each task.

The fun continued with dance challenges to “Shanghai Romance” and “Chanel,” before the duo launched into the first SUPER JUNIOR medley. Featuring “로꾸꺼!!!,” “Super Duper,” and “떴다 오빠 (Oppa, Oppa),” the segment brought familiar songs back to the stage and gave the E.L.F plenty of opportunities to sing along.

A video documenting the origins of 83z followed, offering some background on how the duo came together. After the video, Leeteuk and Heechul returned for a second medley featuring some of SUPER JUNIOR’s most recognisable hits: “미인아 (Bonamana),” “Mr. Simple,” “Sexy, Free & Single,” and “Sorry, Sorry.”

The familiar choreography and melodies made this one of the evening’s liveliest segments, as fans joined in with cheers and singalongs. Revisiting these songs also highlighted the group’s extensive catalogue, spanning different eras of SUPER JUNIOR’s career.

After the medley, the members announced that they would be performing their final songs. They began with “More Than Love (우리의 우정은 사랑보다 강하다),” followed by “ONSAEMIRO (온새미로).” Once the performances ended, Leeteuk and Heechul bowed to the audience and left the stage.

However, E.L.F. were not ready for the night to end. Fans began chanting for an encore, and their calls were answered when the duo returned to perform “Sweet Dream (나비잠).” Their vocals and harmonies once again took centre stage, offering a quieter contrast to the high-energy medleys.

The atmosphere picked up with “Sarang♥,” during which the members passed balls to fans and came down from the stage to interact with the audience. The closer interactions gave fans an opportunity to see the two members up close, making the encore a highlight beyond the performances themselves.

As Leeteuk and Heechul left the stage again, E.L.F. launched into another loud, synchronised encore chant. The duo returned for a second encore, beginning with “Miracle,” before closing the night with “Supergirl.”

From the amazing solo performances to the nostalgic SUPER JUNIOR medleys, the 2026 SUPER JUNIOR-83z FANCON TOUR [1983] in SINGAPORE offered a mix of music and entertainment. The games and dance challenges gave fans a glimpse of the members’ playful sides, while the encore stages brought the evening to a lively close.

For Singaporean E.L.F., the evening was an opportunity to revisit SUPER JUNIOR’s familiar hits while enjoying a different combination of members on stage. It was an evening filled with nostalgia.
