A Korean TV personality mentioned her past co-worker and close friend, who passed away in a traffic accident while they were traveling between schedules.
On September 30th, a video titled “Shim Jin Hwa’s Tearful First Reveal of Her Hard-Earned Family Home from the Bottom (Jang Young Ran BFF)” was uploaded on YouTube.
Shim Jin Hwa and Kim Hyung Eun worked together as the “Three Beauties” on SBS‘s People Looking for a Laugh.
In 2006, on their way to an event in Gangwon Province, they were involved in a traffic accident, and Kim Hyung Eun eventually passed away in 2007.
Jang Young Ran drew attention by saying about Shim Jin Hwa, “Although she’s like a younger sister, I respect her because she still visits Hyung Eun’s father.”
In response, Shim Jin Hwa said, “Hyung Eun passed in January, and my father passed in June. When my father passed, it was so sad. But Hyung Eun’s parents lost their child. I can’t be like their own daughter, but I decided to do whatever I can.”
She added, “I get phone calls every day. The joy of the day is having a glass of soju and talking with me on the phone,” and mentioned that she even took care of his 90th birthday celebration.
