A reality TV show star revealed the reason behind the bruises around her eye just a month before her wedding, clearing up rumors involving her partner.
A contestant on SBS Plus and ENA‘s I Am SOLO Season 10, Ok Soon (real name Kim Seul Ki) posted a lengthy message with a video on her personal social media account on September 30, explaining how she got the bruises around her eye.
Through subtitles in the video, Ok Soon clarified, “I wasn’t hit by my husband. I fell in the bathroom,” adding, “I don’t know if I fainted—I opened my eyes and found myself lying on the floor. It didn’t seem serious at first, so I just stopped the bleeding roughly and even did a live broadcast early in the morning. But when I woke up, my eye had swollen and looked like this.”
She continued, “My husband bought me medicine, and I’ve been applying it diligently. We went to the hospital and took X-rays, and fortunately, my bones are fine. My husband breaks out in cold sweat every time we go out together. I’m much better now. And I plan to quit drinking from now on.”
Ok Soon explained that she had one bottle of wine, went to the bathroom, and then the accident happened. She said, “I wanted to share a ridiculous episode of mine with you in the previous video. Sorry it wasn’t what many people expected.” She added, “Thank you to everyone who worried about me and supported my husband and me.”
Meanwhile, Ok Soon started dating Yoo Hyun Chul, a contestant of MBN‘s Divorced Singles 3, publicly in 2022. They announced they became legally married after registering their marriage in TV Chosun‘s Lovers of Joseon. Their wedding is scheduled for October 24.
