Fans fear a girl group’s future may be in jeopardy following reports about their struggling agency.

Saishu Mirai Shoujo | Mint Productions

Saishu Mirai Shoujo is a three-member Japanese idol girl group that launched in January 2023 as a duo, Fujisaki Nagi and Ono Midori. The group has an “AI idols” concept, where all the beautiful members–who are 100% human–try to look like they were created by AI.

The current lineup consists of: Yuika, Ten, and Luuna, who joined in 2024-2025.

On May 14, Japanese media reported that Saishu Mirai Shoujo’s agency, Mint Productions, has officially begun bankruptcy proceedings. The liabilities are reportedly around ¥270 million (about $1.7 million USD). According to Tokyo Shoko Research, the value of the cryptocurrency assets held by Mint Productions collapsed in January 2026, making it impossible for the company to maintain cash flow, and operations were halted at the end of February 2026.

This news has led to speculation that Saishu Mirai Shoujo may disband. Fortunately, that doesn’t seem to be the case. In an official statement on X (formerly Twitter), the group’s management announced that Saishu Mirai Shoujo and their staff are being transferred from Mint Productions to GRC Cloud, where their group activities will continue as planned.
