A girl group member has shared an update on her pregnancy, just about two weeks before giving birth. She revealed the reality of late-stage pregnancy, showing her noticeably growing belly as well as swollen hands and feet and joint pain.
On September 23rd, Rainbow‘s Go Woori posted a mirror selfie on her social media with the caption, “36 weeks, let’s go.”
In the photo, she wears a checkered two-piece outfit, exposing her belly, and cradles her full-term baby bump with one hand. Turning to the side, her prominently swollen belly is clearly visible, catching attention.
She wrote, “So this is what full-term feels like,” adding, “My hands and feet are swelling more by the day, and every joint hurts.” She also shared, “Every night I’m holding my fingers in pain and groaning,” revealing the difficulties of the final stage of pregnancy.
With only a short time left until delivery, she expressed her excitement, saying, “Only two weeks left.” She also updated on her baby’s growth, sharing the nickname “Bokdeongi.” “Bokdeongi is still a bit small but growing diligently,” she said, “and now weighs about 2.5 kg.”
On the other hand, she took her own weight gain in good humor, saying, “Mom is +15 kg,” accompanied by a smile, and added, “I’m trying to eat a lot for Bokdeongi.”
Despite the physical changes she’s experiencing as the birth approaches, the expectant mother’s enthusiasm remains high. Go Woori married a businessman five years her senior in 2022. After announcing her pregnancy, she received many congratulations and is now preparing for the birth of her first child.
