Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany Young and actor Byun Yo Han have attracted attention for their first move after announcing their marriage.
Byun Yo Han’s agency TEAMHOPE announced on the 27th that the couple had completed their marriage registration. They stated, “We are cautious that continuous news might cause fatigue, but the two actors wanted to be the first to share the news with fans who have always supported them with great love, and we respect that wish and thus make this announcement.”
Regarding the wedding ceremony, the agency explained, “No specific date or location has been decided yet. We are currently cautiously considering a simple wedding service with family to express our gratitude.”
Apart from the official statement from the agency, Tiffany and Byun Yo Han have not shared any additional comments. However, a small but significant change occurred: Tiffany began following her husband Byun Yo Han on her Instagram account that day. Previously, she only followed seven members of Girls’ Generation, whom she considers family (Yuri, Hyoyeon, Seohyun, Sooyoung, Sunny, Taeyeon, Yoona), and now her real family member Byun Yo Han has been added. Byun Yo Han also followed Tiffany back, showing a heartwarming “lovestagram” move.
Meanwhile, Tiffany and Byun Yo Han’s relationship developed through the Disney+ series Uncle Samsik, released in 2024. After reports surfaced on December 13th of last year stating they would marry in autumn 2026, they acknowledged their relationship with the intention to wed.
Both posted lengthy handwritten letters on their respective social media accounts, confessing that they are seriously dating with marriage in mind. Byun Yo Han described Tiffany as “someone who makes me want to become a better person when I’m with her, and seeing her smiling face warms my weary heart.” He pledged, “I will become an actor who can share healthy joy in each other’s laughter and healthy growth in each other’s sorrows, conveying warmer hearts.”
Tiffany introduced Byun Yo Han as “a person who helps me see the world with a positive and hopeful perspective and who gives me stability,” expressing her affection. She stated, “Although no specific schedule has been set yet, if there are significant decisions, I will first share them directly with fans. I sincerely thank everyone who has supported me for a long time and always watched over me warmly. I will cherish that feeling and repay it by doing my best in my position going forward.”
