In a letter shared on her Instagram account, Song revealed the news, sharing her happiness and thankfulness for fans’ support. She also promised to continue working hard in all that she does.
“Hello, this is Song Ha Ye.
I’m writing this carefully because I wanted to share the most precious and important news of my life with our Kkamaes before anyone else.
Although I have always dreamed of it deep down, I was also afraid of it in some ways. Now, I’m going to begin building the “family” I’ve always dreamed of.
For a long time, I wondered if I could create a little heaven where I could spend each day by someone’s side as their wife, where we could laugh together on happy days and be there for each other through difficult ones.
And now, I have met someone with whom I want to make that dream come true.
I met someone who cherishes me just as I am and will always be on my side, no matter what happens. I’m getting married this year.
When I thought about sharing this news, the first people who came to mind were our Kkamaes.
You are so precious to me that I wouldn’t want anything to happen to you. You have loved my music and supported and believed in me at every moment—not only the singer Song Ha Yea, but Song Ha Yea as a person as well.
I imagine some of you may be very surprised by this sudden news, or perhaps feel a little sad or have mixed emotions. That’s why I wanted to tell you directly, with my own feelings.
Even though there will be a new change in my life, my love for our Kkamaes and my love for music will never change.
Just as I always have, I’ll remain by your side as your forever friend and family, and I hope to continue meeting you through good songs for a long, long time.
I’m truly grateful that you have cried and laughed with me, waited for me, and believed in me throughout the journey that brought me to where I am today.
As I begin this new chapter of my life with the person I love, I would be so happy if our Kkamaes could celebrate and bless us with warm hearts.

It has been reported that Song will be marrying YouTuber and singer Charming Jo (real name, Jo Mae Ryeok).
Song Hayea grew her following with her appearances on TV shows including Made In U, K-pop Star 2 and Miss Trot 2. She made her solo debut in 2014, later debuting as part of a three member girl group called Park.Ha.Jung.
