Bona, Park Seo-ham, Jang Se-hyuk, Moon Seung-yoo
- The fantasy romance Dive to You (roughly translated) has officially announced production, causing confusion for top star Bona (The Haunted Palace) and twin brother Jang Se-hyuk (Filing for Love) due to a sudden body-swap on top of a timeslip to the past. There, their mission is to save her first love Park Seo-ham (Our Universe), which somehow entangles her talent agency CEO Moon Seung-yoo (Would You Marry Me) into the ensuing hijinks. [Sports Donga]
- A new mystery called Paradise (roughly translated) is also in the works and an offer has reportedly been made for Lee Jong-seok (Law and the City) to play the main character, a journalist hunting for the hidden truth. Aiming to release in 2027, the series is in the early stages with scripts penned by Kim Soo-jin (Beyond Evil) and PD Oh Choong-hwan (Melo Movie) at the helm. If Lee accepts, this will mark his third time working with PD Oh after While You Were Sleeping and Big Mouth. [Ilgan Sports, My Daily]
Lee Jong-seok, Nana
- Nana (Climax) is said to be considering the leading role in Ma Teresa (transliterated title), potentially becoming our titular heroine who is a criminal psychologist. Delving into the industry, culture, and society surrounding colleges and the world of academia, PD Jang Young-woo (Queen of Tears) is directing alongside the duo, Kwon So-ra and Seo Jae-won who co-wrote Bulgasal: Immortal Souls as well as Netflix’s upcoming The East Palace. - The World They Date In (roughly translated) is reported to have Ryeoun (Bloody Flower) headlining the slice-of-life and rom-com, adapting its story from a popular webtoon by the same title. Currently in planning, the drama is busily at the casting phase, with PD Kim Yong-wan (Head Over Heels, The Whirlwind) and writer Im So-yeon leading the team. [SpoTV News]
- Casting news has dropped for Unnatural as well, which has Yoon-ah (Bon Appetit Your Majesty) reportedly starring in this Japanese series remake, playing a medical coroner. Aligning with the title, the medical science and mystery will be following the characters as they investigate the tale’s unnatural deaths.
