- It’s a bewildering week for Namgoong Min (Our Movie) in the first poster for KBS’s The Husband, having just told his wife Lee Seol (Our Movie) that he wants a divorce when she’s shockingly kidnapped the very next day. Entangled along with Kim Dae-myung (The Art of Negotiation) and Lee Sang-hee (The Price of Confession), the suspense-thriller will be broadcasting on weekends, beginning on July 4. [Sports Donga]
- On tvN, we can expect a cozier tale with Seo In-guk (Boyfriend on Demand) and Park Ji-hyun (You and Everything Else) paired in the newest poster for See You at Work Tomorrow. The office rom-com and webtoon-adaptation premieres on June 22 in the Monday-Tuesday slot, also starring Kang Mina (If Wishes Could Kill), Won Kyu-bin (Bitch x Rich 2), and Choi Kyung-hoon (The Tale of Lady Ok). - Lee Ki-taek (The Practical Guide to Love) is reviewing an offer to play the infamous Prince Suyang (the later King Sejo), potentially becoming brothers with Crown Prince (the later King Munjong) Kang Hoon (Hunter With a Scalpel) in tvN’s Secret Love Tales from Suseong Palace (roughly translated). With Chae Won-bin (Sold Out on You) still in talks as well, production for the historical-fiction is being led by PD Park Soo-jin (Why Her, Hymn of Death) and writer Lee Eun-mi. [Osen]
- Chae Jung-ahn (Family: The Unbreakable Bond) has reportedly been cast in the romance Wed-Thu-Fri (roughly translated), joining Lee Jin-wook (Beyond the Bar), Shin Mina (Karma), Yoo Teo (The Recruit 2), and Seventeen’s Bu Seung-kwan in the lineup. Aiming to release in 2027, PD Jung Dong-yoon (Gyeongseong Creature, Stove League) is attached to direct with Joo Hyun (A Couple’s World) writing. [Yonhap News]
- In the meantime, Netflix is gearing up to Teach You a Lesson in the upcoming webtoon-adaptation, which is slated to launch on June 5, later this week. Continuing promos with the latest batch of character stills, the crime-action and comedy showcases our story’s four educator leads: Kim Mu-yeol (Queen Woo), Lee Sung-min (Nine Puzzles), Jin Ki-joo (Undercover High School), and Pyo Ji-hoon (Good Partner).
