Controversy is escalating as protests from overseas fans over Heeseung‘s withdrawal from ENHYPEN are affecting the National Pension Service‘s operations.

The chairman of the National Pension Service revealed that the Support Center had recently been flooded with phone calls and emails from overseas.

Work was temporarily put on hold due to a sudden surge in overseas calls, and approximately 1,500 emails were received within 2 hours.

This incident is reportedly linked to Heeseung’s departure from the group.

It appears that the fans contacted us after posts calling for protests against the National Pension Service, the major shareholder of HYBE, spread through social media.

It was revealed that the contact information for the international pension support center was shared online, with posts asking whether the National Pension Service was aware of the matter in advance and whether they understood the impact of this decision.

The pension support center provides counseling to foreign workers in Korea and Koreans residing overseas. It is reported that those who actually needed the service were inconvenienced by this incident.

The chairman responded, “The National Pension Service is a long-term investor managing the public’s retirement funds and does not interfere in the management of personal matters of individual companies. The composition of K-Pop members is also not a subject of our involvement.”

As a result, many fans agreed that they should reconsider calling the institution regarding Heeseung’s withdrawal.

i think engenes need to reconsider when calling the national pension service as they do help with retirement funds, managing disability benefits and overall helping low income individuals/families

there are other ways to still protest and shouldn’t be at the expense of others… https://t.co/N0tO4I2W3L

srsly, guys 😭 they handle pension services for people who rely on them, retirees, elderly, workers, and families. what exactly are you trying to do here? 😭😭 and those spamming the comsec, have you no shame? https://t.co/pDg29pa1gW

This is why you shouldn’t just blindly follow anyone. Now, employees who have nothing to do with the situation have to sort through thousands of emails just to make sure they don’t miss important ones. Meanwhile, the people who need help with their pensions are being delayed/not… https://t.co/tOk4HI2hyg
