New Recruit 4 salutes to Kim Min-ho, Kim Dong-joon

Called to formation at ENA for the military, black comedy New Recruit 4, we hail a salute to returning soldiers, Kim Min-ho (Spooky in Love), Kim Dong-joon (Siren’s Kiss), and Oh Dae-hwan (Filing for Love) in this new season’s first poster and video teaser.
Our long-standing protagonist is the now Corporal Park Min-seok (Kim Min-ho), who has been moving up the ranks step-by-step since he joined the army back in Season 1. But Min-seok is still a far cry from being a cool and collected veteran, as demonstrated by Min-seok’s older sister and Sergeant Lee Soo-ji (Salon de Holmes). And with the title’s tagline being Sabotage, we can expect plenty of shenanigans from Season 4’s troops.
The base also welcomes back Commander Jo Baek-ho (Oh Dae-hwan) and Private Jeon Se-gye (Kim Dong-joon), in addition to Nam Tae-woo (Law and the City), Kim Yo-han (A Killer Paradox), Kim Hyun-kyu (Taxi Driver 3), Lee Jung-hyun (Reverse), and Jang Sung-beom (Undercover High School) among many others in the barrack bunks.
There’s never a quiet day when such colorful characters converge and more chaos arrives when the new Lieutenant Colonel Lee Hyun-kyun (The Apartment Job) as well as the ~mysterious~ new recruit Lee Won-jung (Doctor on the Edge) make their entrance in this fourth installment.
On the production side, the team continues to be led by the duo behind previous seasons, PD Min Jin-ki (Salon de Holmes) and writer Yoon Ki-young. And this time, they are joined by PD Jo Jae-wook and writer Kim Dan. Broadcasting in the Monday-Tuesday slot, following Dream to You, ENA’s New Recruit 4 will be premiering next month on August 24.
