The uncertainty surrounding NewJeans’ future has become a hot topic on social media again after a video clip of two of the members surfaced online.

According to reports, members Hyein and Haerin were spotted in the US on June 27 (KST). A fan caught the two candidly interacting at a public space while being accompanied by people who looked like ADOR’s staff members.

This sighting has raised many questions, primarily about Hanni’s notable absence, given that Haerin, Hyein, and Hanni are the three members who were confirmed to have returned to ADOR and agreed to continue their activities as NewJeans. People were also left questioning why the label has not made any updates about Minji.

Haerin and Hyein in seen with ador staff again overseas. No Hanni, no Minji. I genuinely love these girls with all my heart. But I just can’t think of this working in any capacity. NewJeans is over until 2029. There’s no other way to see it.

The sighting of just the two members has also led fans to speculate whether ADOR is trying to build a narrative of a split among the members or if they are genuinely planning to move ahead with just two members for future NewJeans activities.
