The “Asia Prince” actor Jang Keun Suk (also known as Jang Geun Seok) opened up about a past relationship—and that one savage comment from an ex-girlfriend that he says still sticks with him years later.

In the April 20, 2026 (KST) broadcast of SBS‘s Uh, But Like Seriously! program, Jang Keun Suk appeared alongside actor Choi Daniel, where the two traded stories with the show’s hosts. During the episode, the conversation turned to dating, with Jang Keun Suk casually revealing that he’s the type to keep his relationships low-key. But things took a more personal turn when he was asked about the harshest thing he’s ever heard from a girlfriend.
Without hesitation, he recalled being told, “You’re beyond saving.”
The unexpected confession immediately sparked curiosity, prompting him to elaborate on what led to such a cutting remark. Jang Keun Suk explained that he prides himself on being honest in relationships, saying he avoids lying altogether because getting caught would feel more humiliating. However, he admitted there was a catch; while he doesn’t lie, he also doesn’t always volunteer information upfront.
That habit ended up causing repeated friction in one particular relationship. He shared that he would occasionally meet up with female friends without telling his then-girlfriend beforehand, only for her to find out later. As those incidents piled up, so did her frustration, eventually leading to the blunt assessment that he was “beyond saving.” Although it happened four years ago, Jang Keun Suk admitted the words have lingered in his mind ever since!
