Actor Ong Seongwu is continuing his partnership with his current agency, Fantagio.

On the 9th, Fantagio stated, “After in-depth discussions based on trust and faith, we have signed a renewal contract with actor Ong Seongwu,” adding, “We will spare no effort to fully support Ong Seongwu, who has unlimited potential, so that he can continue to engage in various activities.”

Earlier, on the 6th, Ong Seongwu personally shared the news of his contract renewal with fans through his fan cafe, drawing strong attention. He said, “After long consideration and conversations, I decided to continue working with my agency and proceeded with the contract renewal.”

He also expressed gratitude toward his fans, saying, “I thought there were still many things I wanted to achieve with the family who always puts in their best effort. I want to spend the time until I leave the nest not in a new home, but in a familiar one,” and added, “With the unwavering support and love of my reliable and solid fans, I will grow into a remarkable person to repay that support.”

Ong Seongwu made a strong impression on the public with his solid acting skills, leading the story steadily despite being a rookie in his debut drama, JTBC’s At Eighteen. He proved his potential as an actor by winning rookie awards at the 2019 Korea Drama Awards and 2019 Asia Artist Awards.

Since then, Ong Seongwu has appeared in numerous works including the films and dramas. In July last year, he debuted in theater, earning praise from audiences with his strong acting skills and broadening his range to stage performance.

In addition, Ong Seongwu has established his position as a singer by releasing multiple albums. Known as an “all-rounder artist” who crosses genres with his busy career, much attention is on the synergy effect that will come from his contract renewal with Fantagio.

Ong Seongwu is scheduled to hold his fan meeting ONG LAND in Wuhan, China, on March 7, continuing his active activities both domestically and internationally.
