Former =LOVE member and actress Nagisa Saito has reportedly been in a serious relationship with Japanese baseball player Shunsuke Urata.
According to a report from Shukan Bunshun, the 23-year-old actress and the 23-year-old Yomiuri Giants player have been dating for some time and have been spotted together on multiple occasions.
The report comes as Urata is having a breakout season with the Giants. He is currently considered one of the leading candidates for the Central League Rookie of the Year award and is also leading the league in stolen bases.
Shukan Bunshun reportedly caught the pair on several dates after Urata’s games. In photos published by the outlet, the two are seen spending time together, holding hands with their fingers intertwined.
The publication described the pair as being particularly close during their dates.
The two reportedly became closer after first crossing paths, with Shukan Bunshun also revealing that people familiar with their relationship have shared details about a surprising “relationship rule” they follow.
Saito, who is 23, originally rose to fame as a member of =LOVE before leaving the group in 2023. She has since built a career as an actress, appearing in several Japanese shows and films.
Meanwhile, Urata joined the Giants after being selected in the second round of the 2024 NPB Draft. After a relatively quiet rookie season, he has quickly become one of the team’s breakout players this year.
