A Korean celebrity expressed the real struggles of being a full-term pregnant woman, creating a sense of empathy.
On August 14th, a short video was posted on social media by Kim Seung Hye, saying, “I’m not the only one like this, right? I have a dilemma I can’t talk about.”
In the video, Kim is seen sneezing hard just as she’s about to leave the house, then sighing with a troubled expression. Eventually, she changes her clothes and goes back inside.
While brushing her teeth, she gags when cleaning her tongue and tightly closes her eyes, showing symptoms of “late-pregnancy urinary incontinence.”
She added, “This is something pregnant women will understand. Let’s all stay strong,” offering support to fellow pregnant women.
In response, fellow comedian Lee Eun Hyung, who gave birth to her son Hyun Jo in 2024, shared, “I still have those moments sometimes,” revealing she still experiences similar difficulties.
Meanwhile, Kim Ji Min, currently pregnant with her first child, drew attention by saying, “Let me know how to prepare too. I sneeze a lot,” showing her interest.
Kim Seung Hye, a comedian from KBS’s 29th open recruitment class, married fellow comedian Kim Hae Jun—well known by his alter ego “Choi Jun”—in 2024.
Earlier, in May, Kim Seung Hye shared good news, saying, “I have good news, so I’m greeting you after a long time. Our baby angel has finally come to us.” She added, “Since it’s our first time as parents, we have a lot to learn, but we’ll do our best and show you how we navigate this journey. Please support our family a lot,” joyfully announcing her pregnancy.
