Aside from her personality, what drew viewers’ attention to Choi during the show’s initial episodes was her striking robe. The accessories she wore during the show alone were valued at nearly ₩330 million KRW (about $219,000 USD), sparking immense curiosity about her affluent background.

In her recent appearance on the popular YouTube show, Psick University, Choi talked in detail about her looks on the show, admitting that initially she was hesitant to put her personal style on public display. However, she ended up styling herself for most of the show, with some help from her mother. The iconic yellow dress that she wore for the first episode was altered by her mother to fit her perfectly.
However, in the case of the luxury accessories, Choi admitted that not all of them were owned by her. In fact, most of them were borrowed from her mother or her acquaintances. Some of the other pieces were also personal gifts. “I actually borrow quite a lot from people I know,” Choi confessed.
While Choi Mina Sue has been discussed by viewers for her luxurious background, this frank confession has offered a refreshingly honest side of her.
