Actress Son Ye Jin has shared glimpses of her offline and online life with husband Hyun Bin and their son.
On September 17th, a video titled “The Dangerously Beautiful Love Bet of Three Friends” was released on the YouTube channel Netflix Korea. The video featured Netflix series The Scandal actors Son Ye Jin, Ji Chang Wook, and Nana.
In the video, Son Ye Jin shared an update saying, “These days, I’m raising a baby,” adding with a smile, “I’m not working on any projects and taking a break, but raising a baby is even harder.”
She cited a recent family trip as her happiest moment. Son Ye Jin said, “We went to Okinawa and the U.S. We took a break after finishing a project.”
She continued, “When you travel with a child, it’s not really a relaxing trip. The schedule is very tight and focused around the baby,” adding, “It’s tough, but traveling with family is truly happy.”
She also shared an anecdote about her husband Hyun Bin and social media. Son Ye Jin explained why she covers Hyun Bin’s face with stickers when posting photos of him on her social media account, saying, “I just said, ‘Why don’t you just post it?’ but he asked me to cover it, so I always do.”
She also explained why she recently created a secondary Instagram account. Son Ye Jin said, “We officially share a lot, so I wanted to post other fun, everyday things,” adding, “I wanted to post things that are natural and fun rather than too polished and pretty.”
She added, “Lately, ‘alternate personas’ have become popular, so I thought, ‘Shall I try it for fun?’ But even that became news, so I couldn’t do it freely,” confessing, “At first, I wanted to post recklessly, but I gradually held back.“
