The halfway point of 2026 is fast approaching (already!) and SBS was happy to check-in on the year so far at the recent press event. But there’s still much to come on the horizon ahead in SBS’s dramaland and the official lineup has been announced for the second half of 2026, in addition to what’s beyond in 2027 next year.

Need to know: The action-noir and webtoon-adaptation has So Ji-sub (Mercy for None) playing the title character, a double agent spy forced out of hiding when the story’s villains capture his daughter. This leads him down the darkened path of revenge. But thankfully, he’ll be aided by the also secretly bad-ass, neighborhood dads, Choi Dae-hoon (The WONDERfools) and Yoon Kyung-ho (The Legend of Kitchen Soldier).

It wasn’t easy, though, with nightmare instructor Jung Eun-chae (Honour) overseeing his training. And she of course turns out to be his new team leader on the force.

Need to know: Based on the popular 2012 Japanese series that kicked off multiple sequels, the Korean remake pits the principled Kim Ji-won (Queen of Tears) against the hospital’s business politics. And we’ll be following her journey over the medical-mystery tale, alongside Lee Jung-eun (Heavenly Ever After), Sohn Hyun-joo (Reborn Rookie), and Kim Woo-seok (Delightfully Deceitful).

Need to know: Picking up sometime after the events of Season 1, Jang Nara (Taxi Driver 3) and Pyo Ji-hoon (Teach You a Lesson) reprise their attorney roles in this new, next chapter with Jang running her own firm. The second season’s conflict will also bring her old rival Park Hae-jin (The Killing Vote) as well as new hire Kim Hye-yoon (No Tail to Tell) into the legal drama’s mix.

And it’s especially challenging for our workaholic heroine who even put off love in this remake of the Chinese drama The Rational Life.

Their mission is to tackle the most difficult cases that are bound to lose and find a way to give their disadvantaged clients a winning chance.

He thus works together with AI developer Lee Yumi (As You Stood By) to make use of a technology that can manipulate the subconscious and take control of people’s dreams.

Need to know: Headlined by Kim Rae-won (The First Responders) and Park Hoon (Bloodhounds 2), the sports drama also has UEE (Live Your Own Life) in the part of Kim’s wife. With the former two being fellow coaches, the story is centered around their long rivalry as they’re each now vying to become the pro baseball team’s next director.

Need to know: Clad in the latest designer threads once more, demon justice Park Shin-hye (Undercover Miss Hong) will be making her comeback to the human realm in Season 2. And though it’s still early days, hopefully that means Kim Jae-young (I Dol I), Kim In-kwon (Our Universe), and Kim Ah-young (Boyfriend on Demand) will be returning as well.
