Would You Rather #72
by DaebakGrits
In dramaland, leading ladies often find themselves torn between the love of two equally attractive men — a choice none of us would want to make! But what if you did have to pick between the frustrating lawyer and the adorkable police officer? In this feature, we ask you to make the difficult decisions — and we aren’t limiting our options to dreamy oppas.
Vote via the poll and feel free to use the comments to explain exactly how you were able to choose! So, Beanies:
WOULD YOU RATHER #71 RESULTS
Time keeps moving at an alarming rate, because somehow it’s already June! And you know what that means: it’s time to see how last month’s Would You Rather poll turned out. When posed with the option of marrying royalty or having a secret scandalous romance, the majority of Beanies — 53.57% or 60 voters, to be exact — opted for the royal wedding. Why? Well, @ryunami pointed out the most obvious answer: “wealth, status, and luxury.” And @jerrykuviraira was right there wither her, “sashaying into royalty.”
Depending on your definition of “royalty,” though, you could also opt to marry into Hollywood — or Hallyuwood — royalty, which is how @welh640 chose to read the prompt. It’s a loophole I can certainly get behind, and while were’ on the topic of loopholes, @nivar took them to a whole new level and suggested the optimal choice would be to marry royalty and then “have a secret scandalous romance after.” (Was there also shade thrown at Charles and Camilla in the comments section? Yes, yes there was.)
Although the poll clearly indicated that more Beanies were interested in a royal wedding, the comments section actually skewed more in favor of the secret scandalous romance, which @lordcobol pointed out, can’t be that “scandalous” as long as it remains a secret. In general, though, the Beanies who were adverse to marrying royalty — like @redfox, @kdramagoo, and @lillamy — seemed more on the introverted side, preferring to not only keep their romance out of the public eye but the rest of the daily lives as well. The lack of privacy and the stress of maintaining a public persona are a heavy burden, so it’s no wonder so many Beanies — and Grand Prince Yi Ahn himself — opted out of the royal lifestyle.
