Amid ongoing controversy surrounding Jun Hyun Moo’s impromptu trip to Almaty, Kazakhstan, on MBC’s I Live Alone, questions have now been raised about yet another issue.

On September 6th, a netizen announced via an online community that they had submitted a supplementary opinion to the Broadcast Media Communications Review Committee regarding Jun Hyun Moo’s Almaty trip broadcast. They also filed a related complaint with the National Petition System.
The part the netizen questioned was the rental car reservation screen revealed on the program. According to the broadcast, the flight with Jun Hyun Moo aboard departed from Incheon International Airport at 11:10 a.m. on the 6th of last month. The broadcast stated that the flight time from Incheon to Almaty was approximately seven hours.
Considering the time difference between Korea and Almaty, the estimated arrival time would be around 2:10 p.m. local time the same day. However, the rental car reservation screen shown on the program indicated a rental start time of 9:08 a.m.
There was also a discrepancy in the rental period. The screen displayed a total of 48 hours from 9:08 a.m. on August 6 to 9:08 a.m. on August 8. In contrast, I Live Alone introduced Jun Hyun Moo’s trip as a 1-night, 2-day schedule totaling 29 hours.
In this context, the complainant submitted an opinion stating the need to verify how the rental car usage period shown on the broadcast differed from the actual vehicle usage schedule.
However, it has not yet been confirmed whether the time shown on the broadcast screen corresponds to the actual times when the vehicle was picked up and returned, or if it was merely the scheduled times set during the reservation process. This makes it difficult to draw firm conclusions about the actual filming and travel schedule based solely on the 48-hour period displayed.
