In the 9th episode of the Netflix variety show Jae-seok’s B&B Rules!, which was released on the 2nd, the final night of the second camp was depicted.
On that day, Yoo Jae Suk and Ji Ye Eun grilled meat together for the guests. Ji Ye Eun sprayed sauce and confessed, “I like this sauce. I have a child’s taste.” Yoo Jae Suk replied, “Your taste buds are like a child’s, but your health isn’t. Be careful,” advising her.
Ji Ye Eun had previously undergone surgery and taken a break due to thyroid cancer. Concerned about her health, Yoo Jae Suk offered advice on eating habits.
He said, “I think the taste buds are the last part to age. I really love sweets too. I just hold back. I used to eat a whole cake back in the day,” he revealed.
Ji Ye Eun was surprised and said, “I can’t believe it,” to which Yoo Jae Seok responded, “Can’t believe it, right? Our life is unavoidable. We have to part ways with the things we love.”
Moved, Ji Ye Eun said, “I feel like I’m going to cry,” and Yoo Jae Suk explained, “If you don’t give something up, every time you age, you’ll have to give up a little more.”
Lee Kwang Soo chimed in, “About 10 years ago, Jae Suk hyung told me, ‘I think I should cut down on coffee.’ He really loved coffee,” recalling, and Yoo Jae Suk said, “When I was in my late 30s, I quit smoking and realized at some point that I had to part ways with the things I love. You have to slowly say goodbye to the things you like,” sharing this bittersweet reality. Ji Ye Eun nodded in agreement, saying, “That’s right. That’s the harsh reality.“
