Veteran actress Moon So Ri recently sat down for an interview, where she opened up about her unexpected love for boy group CORTIS. She had previously gone viral at the “AAA 2025” awards ceremony after giving the group a public shoutout during her acceptance speech, saying, “CORTIS’s stage was so good. I was really moved.”
As it turns out, that moment was not just a passing compliment. Moon So Ri was genuinely blown away. Recalling the first time she watched CORTIS perform in person, Moon So Ri shared, “I told Uhm Ji Won, who was sitting next to me, ‘Oh my gosh, who are they? Who are those kids? Look at them.’ I remember saying that if I wasn’t wearing a dress, I would have run out there because I was so excited.”
She also recalled meeting the members backstage after the ceremony.

CORTIS came to our waiting room to greet us, and I was so surprised. The members also looked surprised when they heard that I liked them so much.
When I met them in person, they looked so young. They were so pure and polite that it was hard to believe they were artists with that level of skill. I was even more surprised when I heard the youngest member was born in 2010. I really respect the fact that they can show that kind of ability at such a young age.

Her love for CORTIS has apparently made its way into her everyday routine, too.
I listen to CORTIS’s music often when I’m doing photoshoots or getting my makeup done for projects. In fact, when I look tired or low on energy, the makeup team naturally puts on CORTIS’s music. Then I immediately get excited. People around me say, ‘As expected, we need to play CORTIS for her to get energized.’

After revealing that she is currently trying to secure tickets to CORTIS’s concert, like all K-Pop fans do, the actress also sent a heartfelt message of support to the group. “This album went in an unexpected direction, so I found it even more interesting,” she said, “and I hope they continue to release music that goes beyond fans’ expectations.”
Meanwhile, Moon So Ri is currently continuing her lecture performance “Dance Speaks” with choreographer Lia Kim. She is also set to appear in JTBC’s upcoming weekend drama “Apartment,” which premieres on July 11, as well as the film “Ode To My Father 2,” scheduled to be released later this year.
