Recently, the collaboration track, “Iconic By Mistake,” featuring ILLIT, LE SSERAFIM, and KATSEYE, was released.

The track features members of all three groups and has already divided the internet. Currently, the video has over 4.2 million views just eight hours after its release.
While many have debated the song’s musicality, a group has seemingly called out HYBE over alleged plagiarism.
In the video, several scenes featuring ILLIT take place inside of a dingy dentist office, as the members perform work on Wonhee’s mouth.
These are at the center of plagiarism claims made by girl group VVS’s account based on similarities to the group’s track “D.I.M.M.”
VVS
On the group’s Instagram account story, screenshots from “Iconic By Mistake” were placed with screenshots from “D.I.M.M,” along with a link to watch VVS’s music video.
As “D.I.M.M” was released last year, many have seen it as shade towards HYBE, and an accusation plagiarism. There have been a number of reactions, ranging from amusement, to concerns that VVS’s team is setting the group up for hate, as ILLIT previously had similar concepts in their 2024 release “Cherish (My Love).”
