A Korean reality dating TV show star has announced her marriage and shared the details of how she met her handsome groom.
On the 11th, a video which features I Am SOLO contestant Young Sook from Season 8 was uploaded.
Young Sook shared an update saying, “I’ve been busy working and preparing for my wedding.” While busy with wedding preparations, Young Sook headed to a makeup shop. She came to get her makeup done before taking snap photos with her fiancé. When asked about the fiancé, Young Sook said, “He’ll come later. It takes women two hours and men one hour, so he made a later appointment.”
While Young Sook was getting her makeup done, her fiancé arrived. He explained how they met, saying, “I was lucky. I contacted her very late. I saw the show and only reached out about three years later. I found her after I Am SOLO: Love Continues, followed her, and occasionally saw her on social media from then on. After three years, I sent her a message saying, ‘You must get a lot of DMs, but you seemed really nice from the show. If you’re not seeing anyone, can I contact you?’”
Young Sook said, “I couldn’t finish watching I Am SOLO: Love Continues because it was too shocking. I was very grateful because he liked the sides of me I didn’t like myself. So I was thankful and got in touch. Our first meeting was led by him. He said he wanted to eat, so when I asked when, he kept pushing until I agreed to meet.”
Young Sook shared, before their first meeting, “You can check the other person’s profile. He didn’t post much on social media, but he wasn’t completely absent either. His identity was clear—his job and company were revealed. I was sure about his status.” Her fiancé runs a fitness center in Gangnam. He said, “She seemed so nice, and although I hesitated to contact her, time passed. Even if she rejected me, I wanted to try, so I reached out.“
