Disney+ announces Park Jung-min as A Man’s Man

Disney+ has announced the cast of their new series A Man’s Man (roughly translated). Based off a webnovel of the same name by Kim Tae-goong — which also has been adapted into an ongoing webtoon — the upcoming drama has actor Kim Hee-won (Gold Land) returning to the director’s chair since his first project Light Shop. Along with Kim, a plethora of familiar collaborators have joined the cast, most notably actors from his directorial debut, including his show’s new lead Park Jung-min (Queen Mantis).
The story follows the life of Han Yoo-hyun (Park Jung-min), an average employee who rises up the ranks to become the youngest CEO in the company’s history. However, he loses everything one day, and after a peculiar encounter, he is transported back twenty years to when he first got hired. Now he has a chance to rewrite his life and fix everything that went wrong.
Joining our hero in the product development team are Bae Sung-woo (Light Shop) as the nonchalant but secretly insightful Senior Manager Kim Hyun-min and Kim Ji-hyun (Still Shining) as the perfectionist working-mom Manager Choi Min-hee. In addition, Jung Moon-sung (The Scarecrow) plays the tenacious Assistant Manager Kim Young-gil, Moon Sang-hoon (Pump Up the Healthy Love) is Yoo-hyun’s direct supervisor Assistant Manager Park Seung-woo, and Kim Min (Gold Land) rounds out the team as the young and passionate Lee Chan-ho.
As for the rest of the company, Lee Jung-eun (Filing for Love) takes on the role of Managing Director Jo Chan-young who is in charge of the product development department while Seolhyun (Light Shop) makes a special appearance as her secretary Lee Ae-rin. In direct opposition to our hero, Kim Dae-myung (The Husband) plays Head Manager Lee Kyung-hoon who leads the sales department, and Lee Kwang-soo (Gold Land) joins as a special appearance as Yoo-hyun’s number one enemy Director Shin Kyung-soo. Last but not least, Lee Sang-yi (The Legend of Kitchen Soldier) plays Yoo-hyun’s cohort Kwon Se-joong who becomes a source of regret for our hero in his journey to the past.
A Man’s Man begins production soon and will release sometime in the future on Disney+.
