The 21st Century Grand Prince’s Wife – The entire story ended up being as boring and predictable as the villains. Wasted potential.
We Are All Trying Here – Exact opposite – liked it much more at the end than I did at the beginning. Gyeong-se and Dong-man rediscovering their friendship was nice. Hye-jin stayed awesome. Still slightly worried about Jin-man though…
The Scarecrow – Glad they didn’t manufacture consequences that didn’t exist in real life. Excellent writing – managed to bring a fresh, if saddening, perspective to a story we all thought we’d already seen many times. Might be top of my favourites list for this year so far.
Sold Out on You – Honestly all the side couples ended up being cuter than our leads. Chae Won-bin was good in a role that could easily have come off as grating.

My Royal Nemesis (Eps. 3 – 6) – Se-gye is out there writing new definitions for ‘loser in love’ and I’m not complaining one bit. Hope it doesn’t lose its spark in the second half 🤞.
Filing for Love (Eps. 7 – 10) – OTP still rocks – not just together but individually as characters. Glad Jae-yeol’s come to his senses. Now if only the SFL wasn’t written so badly…
The Legend of Kitchen Soldier (Eps. 3 – 6) – Continues to be a delight! Our Taste Boys debuting with a full song complete with rap verse 💯🤣.

Reborn Rookie – Based on a novel by the writer of Reborn Rich but the drama lists makjang queen Kim Soon-ok as the ‘creator’. Bracing myself for a trainwreck 😬.

A Splendid Match – Passed the point where the OTP could paper over the cracks in the story. Not sure what they achieved at the end with everyone dead. Battle scenes were nicely done.
Born With Luck – Stayed quirky till the end. The two robbers were my favourite.

Zhan Zhao Adventures – (up to Ep. 18) – Behind by quite a few episodes but I’m still enjoying our trio a lot. Will binge complete over the weekend now that express is out.

Dazzling (up to Ep. 3) – They’ve definitely watered down the novel a bit but it’s fine. I like the nicer coastal town vibes of this.
