“I’m just saying my opinion, just like what everyone is doing here.”

    Koreaboo

    Just now

If you know anything about GOT7′s Jackson Wang, it is that he will always say what is on his mind.

The idol has often spoken out about his life experiences, both good and bad, even detailing them through his music. Jackson has described the creation of Magic Man 2, his second album, as a way to express his raw emotions and share them with fans.

GOT7’s Jackson Wang Gets Real About A Personal Struggle — And Proves Why He’s The Best Role Model

The idol is currently on his Magic Man 2 world tour, during which he has spoken about his future plans, some of which have not gone down well with some netizens.

On April 16, the idol took to social media to reiterate his thoughts on himself and his art.

    Some info wanna share 🙏🙆🏻‍♂️
    I am who i am,
i have been transparent enough through years in my solo to express that.
    I never changed.
    I do not hide it.
    Why hide who you are?

Through MM2, if you pay attention.
    I have explained everything already.

It’s the different sides of me…

A reply to his tweet accused him of having “unhealed trauma,” saying that his upcoming SEX GOD album was not an accurate description of who he is.

In response, Jackson seemingly (sarcastically) questioned if he should “settle down” as the OP suggested, also stating that he had no trauma from GOT7.

If you were truly yourself you’d stop playing up this “sex god” persona and be yourself. You haven’t healed the trauma from when you were in got7 and that’s OKAY. You’re too old to be in a “i do what i want, fuck the rules” miley cyrus era. You’re 30. Start settling down

Jackson took things a step further to the individual attempting to box him into a specific idea, going on their account and replying to an unrelated post, calling it their “imagination.”

Another reply to a person echoing similar thoughts seems to show Jackson’s thought process, and his desire to be fully authentic to himself.

Erm, nathalie wills, it doesnt bother me at all, but what truth? 😐

    “sink deeper and deeper” ?
    “Known me for years ?”
    Through WHAT???????
    online ?

It’s all through YOUR perception of who i should be, and what YOU THINK I am suppose to be like …though

    Listen to yourself.…

Netizens have often wished that idols were more able to defend themselves, and it appears that Jackson is doing exactly that.
